Toastmasters International is a U.S.-based nonprofit educational organization dedicated to helping individuals enhance their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through a global network of clubs. Operating across multiple countries, the organization manages diverse learning programs, membership structures, and club operations. As the organization scaled globally, managing memberships, learning pathways, orders, and support interactions across disconnected systems became increasingly complex. This resulted in limited real-time visibility, inconsistent member engagement, and challenges in tracking incidents and communications, impacting both operational efficiency and the overall member experience.

A unified Microsoft Dynamics 365–based solution was implemented using Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Engagement. The platform enabled end-to-end management of products, orders, invoicing, taxation, memberships, learning pathways, incidents, and customer service. Seamless integrations were established between the website and Dynamics 365 using Azure APIs and Azure Functions, while dual-write ensured real-time data synchronization between Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations. Payment processing was integrated using PayPal via PayFabric, and learning management capabilities were connected through the Edly LMS, creating a fully integrated digital ecosystem with automated notifications and integrated support channels.

The solution delivered centralized member and club management with real-time visibility into learning pathways, subscriptions, and engagement levels. Automated communications enhanced the member experience through timely notifications for renewals, payments, achievements, and learning milestones. Financial operations were streamlined with improved order fulfilment, invoicing, and tax management, while integrated customer service enabled efficient incident tracking across multiple channels. The scalable architecture supports global operations, simplifies billing and renewals, and strengthens member relationships through consistent, connected digital experiences.
